Every third Friday of the month (from October to Ash Wednesday), between 7:30 and 9:30pm, a prayer and bible study group is organized in the Grotto of Notre Dame and open to French speakers.

Every week, Fr. Michael invites us to increase our intimacy with God through Centering Prayer.
Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship.
This “apophatic” approach is a very strong current in our ancient Catholic tradition. It can help us be more sensitive to the voice and working of the Spirit in our lives, and increase our intimacy with God. It can also shower peace and calm upon our hearts.

Should you be interested in joining the group, just show up on Mondays, 7:30 – 8:45pm at Corpus Christi Church.  Newcomers are requested to arrive by 7:20 for some basic instruction.

The Cenacle of Life is a prayer group that prays two rosaries (ten mysteries) offering the rosaries with fasting. Each member fasts one day a week on bread and water, to end the culture of death. They offer up their fasts - at the prayer group - with the rosaries prayed.
Once a week, members gather for daily mass, prayer of the Rosary, benediction followed by an offering prayer and a second Rosary.

To honor of Our Lady of Lourdes, the patron of our Church, parishioners gather after the Tuesday 12:10 Mass for a “special Novena”, as well as for Rosary and the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

This ministry is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a devotion that focuses attention on the physical Heart as the symbol of His redemptive love.
Through prayer, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and an active participation in the daily Liturgy, the group prays to replace the violence and hate that can reign in human hearts with the Love, Compassion and Forgiveness of the Sacred Heart, and strives to radiate that Love to the world.
