Rev. Peter A. Heasley, a native of Detroit, Michigan, worked as an architect in New York City for several years after service with the U.S. Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa. Ordained a priest in 2013, he finished a licentiate in Biblical Theology in 2014 and a doctorate in Biblical Theology in 2019, both at the Gregorian University in Rome. In between, he served as parochial vicar at St. Gregory Barbarigo in Garnerville (2013) and St. John the Evangelist in Goshen (2014-2016). Most recently, he served as pastor of St. Michael the Archangel at Co-op City, Bronx (2019-2022). During his years of priesthood, he has also served as adjunct professor of Scripture at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers (2014-Present).
